Synopsis:In the movie “Blended,” Jim played by Adam Sandler, is a single father with three daughters. Lauren played by Drew Barrymore, is a single mother with two sons. Jim and Lauren clash on a blind date and decide not to see each other again. But, when they each sign up separately for a remarkable family vacation with their brood, both the families get stuck sharing a suite at a plush African safari resort for a week. Will it be happily ever after?
Review:The movie “Blended” is hilarious and has a good storyline. The movie is focused on the family. How family members have to stick together as a team. It was also about finding love to complete the family. “Blended” marks the third comedy flick starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, following their successful onscreen pairings in the hit romantic comedies “50 First Dates” and “The Wedding Singer.” “Blended” was reportedly filmed in Sun City, South Africa. Some of the scenes were filmed near Lake Lanier, Buford and Gainesville in Georgia. The movie features spectacular South African landscapes.
Sandler and Barrymore have great on screen chemistry and they really worked well together this time also. The kids as well as the adults will enjoy this film. On the whole, it is a romantic comedy that everyone should watch.
The film also features a cameo from South African cricket player Dale Steyn. Wendi McLendon-Covey plays the role of Jen, the best friend of Barrymore who has no children. The former National Football League player Terry Crews plays Nickens, one of the resort entertainers with the sort of hyper energy his fans have come to expect.
